I would follow some tutorials if I were you. It's a little better then your first one but it's still bad. Following some tutorials (search on deviantArt for "Signature Tutorials") will help you improve your skills a lot

For your second attempt it is alright..
Try using smudging and changing layer settings..
Also I don't like the text. It is too big to plain to green IMO
