I'm "trying" to quit runescape. Need advice on selling

Hi. A month ago my gf told me she was pregnant :nuts: o wait

Sooo, I had to quit my job and get a better paid one (50% more pay, 150% more work :/)

Today Jagex sent me an email about EOC, which reminds me... I havent sold my account >_<

I have never bought or sold neither account nor cash. Search is disabled in the forums, so I have to ask, where is the antiscam guide? where is the pricecheck guide?

If any nice and compasive soul would stumble on this thread, and has any advice for me, it is greatly appreciated. Like, when is the best time to sell an account, should I strip it from its cash and items or sell as a whole, or a fair price to ask for it... which, btw looks like this:

1) a name with less than four LETTERS
2) level over 2345 (99s include ranged, crafting, agility, farming). Over 240M xp
3) cash is 500-600M Can't be sure due to current market unstability.
4) No bans or offences, ever.
5) Two or three membership months already paid and thousands of loyalty.

Use a MM for the trade, OMM is preferable. They will ensure you shan't be scammed.

 

Well, at the current market rate your 500m gold should get you around 200 bucks, I would keep hold of your account for longer and rate for the price of gold to rise more. As for the account, post up a thread in the selling section with screenshots etc. Make sure to use a OMM to make sure you don't get scammed. Also avoid PayPal as you can get a chargeback, look at Western Union or bank transfer.

The choice to sell with/without items is entirely up to you. Usually, by keeping some wealth on the account, people are inclined to believe that you are actually legit, and aren't just trying to scam it back after people transfer their wealth to it.

Make sure the legitimacy of the sale is perfect on the account post. That meaning Recoveries are removed, Email is off, and JAG protection is not active.

Also, it's always nice to include a reason as to why you are selling the account, and make sure it isn't too brief. This separates you from the people that do no take the time in making their post detailed which shows that they are just trying to make a quick buck.

I think you should probably strip it of the items and sell them in the Runescape grand exchange for GP then sell the gp via playerauctions or Sythe to a trusted member.

You could also put the account on playerauctions which is one of the safest websites to sell runescape accounts and you can also try and sell it via sythe here we have a thriving account selling market.

Personally i'd just sell the gp to a trusted seller first, then worry about selling the cleaned account second.
