Im trying to bot on a old mac mini and could use your help.

Im attempting to bot 06 on a old mac mini ppc. I had planned on updating it (the intel chip, hard drive and ram) but i'm wondering if it would even be worth it. I could sell off the mini and purchase a 09 upgrade that and have it runnig bots for a few more years without any doubt, how ever i am on a budget and would like to do this the cheapest way possible.. A little guidence on this would be nice.

Edit: some people have told me it should work, how ever i'm curious to know if i just upgrade the ram will i get the desired results.

 

Can it run even a single bot right now?

 

Currently it cannot even play 07 i'm wondering if i upgrade the ram will it begin to work or not.

 

I think you're far better off upgrading to your old mac mini instead of throwing upgrades on it.

 

Sell/trash it and use something else. If it can't run an 07 client don't throw money into it.
