Benefits of getting hacked?

Well, I tried to sell my account on sythe if I remember and some guy sends me the money and later on cancels the payment. So, for about two days he had access to my account because Blizzard's customer support hot-line wasn't on at the time. So, the next day I call Blizzard and I get the account back and the first thing I see in the mailbox is 400 gold sent to me. I check my skills and my mining is maxed out and I have 3000 gold in my inventory. This guy got me my epic flying mount in three days when I tried a while to get it. I guess I really am bad at this game if it only took him three days and me a year...

I guess there's your benefit?​

 

I lol'd at this. But don't think it lessens your ability to play though, he could have just transferred money. Nonetheless, you have a much better account now

 

Very lucky, this happened to me on RS once. Got scammed and he trained the account because he thought I couldn't recover it. GF when I did >_<

 

I received 4000 gold from getting hacked once, plus better gear.

 

I was hacked a few weeks ago. Recieved 3KG and maxed LW.

Lucky you. Most hacked accounts result in character deletions.

 

Yea my 2nd account got hacked by some gold sellers last week, I only had a level 58 rogue so they deleted him.

However last week my friend finally decided to play on the EU (he is in US) so i gave him the account and there was like 8 different random named characters lol.

I managed to get my rogue back those

 

Haha, similar thing happened to me

i went to start up my TBC account (after not playing it for 2 years) and the account was hacked. rung up blizz, got it back in seconds, and the last login was 3 days before i recovered it, the person had put on a 2-month card.

That happened to me before then the guy did a charge back with the money for when he paid for the time card. Blizzard gave my account a negative balance so I called them up and yeah they pulled up theirs histories.

 

Happened to me before in runescape.

 

Yeah i've had the same. It's good to get hacked by asian farmers, as all of your professions go up

 

My friend was hacked once and most of his toons were deleted. When they came back he had loads of expensive crap in his bags/loads of gold. He traded as much as he could of it to an alt and Blizz managed to delete some gems, but he still had loads of gold.

And yet he blew it so quickly on mounts/gear ._. He had a gold cap/several hogs and yet he was down to 700g when ICC came out (The first layer, not the Frozen Throne)

 

That happened, to my at Runescape lol.

 

Lol that's pretty lucky. The closest I have come to that is once my runescape account was hacked for a few days and the guy got 1m gold on it. Pretty nice.

 

1 ticket to a GM and you got everything back that you had.

The only benefit I got when I got hacked was I discovered RuneScape is full of sad 13 year olds.
