Account sale verification. Suggestion

We all know about the massive scammer problem. With mainly account trades.

My suggestion is that a new rank is introduced *Account Verifier* these people go around the black market and get accounts checked. For instance , they ask the seller to log in on the account and talk to the Verifier, this will stop lots of fake accounts being sold cutting out about 40% of the account scams.


This could also be done by Market Mods and official mm's.
This is just one of my suggestions to help keep Sythe as clean as possible.

Most of the account scams work by recovering the account, this idea would not help that.

If the people did not actually have the account the middleman they used would quickly realise that. Also the buyers could verify the accounts too if they want.

 

Yea, what BH said. I say everyone should be required to provide their phone number and let the buyer CALL them. The buyer will NOT stalk you (account seller). If you don't want to give your phone #, then your afraid that when you scam your voice mail will be spammed. If you aren't comfortable by doing so, then don't sell accounts!! **This should only apply for account sellers**

 

Hmm, good idea. Though im not sure how we will get a verifier. won't they need to be extremely trusted?

I comepletly dissagree with people having to give theier home numbers.

Most of the people are on this site and quite young, so you're encouranging them to do something thier parents will object to.
