Im just SICK of this !

Well, perhaps you should edit your post then, because that's exactly what you're saying. Regardless, you're still saying it's ok to ban someone who hasn't technically done anything against the rules.

Let's say I have 2 christmas crackers. I do not want to show them, nor will I use a MM for them. Sure, it might sound a little shady, but then simply don't trade with me. Sooner or later I'll take the hint that I'll need to be more open to sell it. I see no reason why I should be banned though for my paranoia.

 

I am a new comer and when i first joined i made sure i read all the rules an have tried to stick by them.

As a new comer i know that i do have to prove my trust to those who have already gained it.

That being said a suspect trader or doing suspicious stuff that does throw up red flags, should be atleast watched closely or giving a warning or something and after a few of them stack up maybe zee ban hammer should be laid.

prevention is better the cure ? meaning if you nip the suspicious trader in the but before he scams wouldn't that make sythe a better place?

Just my opinion.

Also if the noob is saying selling 10b , 80cents per/m with 1 post and no picture why is anyone even thinking about trading him, then you got to ask yourself when you get scammed is it your fault for trusting a random idiot or his fault for taking advantage, humans are naturally greedy beings.

 

You're trying to cure the symptoms, rather than the cause or source. Secondly, like I said before, if they're shady characters, no one will trade with them in the first place. But why ban them for being shady? For all you know they are someone who actually has gotten scammed in the past, has their last 100M, and really doesn't trust MMs. Sure, it sounds weird, but you shouldn't punish someone just because they act a certain way when no actual rules were broken.

Acting stupid isn't a rule, nor is acting shady. Don't ban on assumptions.

 

In my opinion we make this site the way it is ' the trusted sellers ' we put it together and help maintain it scammer free we appoint people we trust with our money to better help the ones that arent at a higher respect than us be able to join the group(OMMs). If they refuse to use the people we appointed why are they on our site in the first place? My 2 cents..

 

I support the new rule,
tired of leechers saying not going first, no omm,
i may not buy loads of cash and so on
i do wander acc upgrade section see this allllll the time
and ever1 is stupid enough to buy the upgrade.

 

Another 2 cents of mine.. i believe if you get scammed its your your fault, you can't blame the scammer for scamming you he was trying to do that since the first line he messaged you. It was your decision to not take the pre cautions needed to not be scammed. Its kind of harsh but true. I'm really good at telling if some one is scamming just because of not only expirience but able to read some one. If i had the chance to ban like FireZ on instinct i'm sure i'd be able to catch ALOT of people. I've done over 200 Trades never been scammed once.

 

I`ve added countless people with a join date of this year who have said "No, i dont go first. I am trusted on x website, so I am more trusted than you."

Well, if you are more trusted than me, then why did you come here to sell/buy your items? Why not just stick with x? This is frustrating. Especially when most of the OMM's charge 5m for each trade they do, and I work with smaller trades.

 

Hahah , really think this rule would be a must !

 

I have a few guys I sit on msn with and predict who is going to scam next...turns out we have been right more often then wrong just by simply watching people...

 

no because if they are buying gold then they would always say u gota buy omm just stop wining..

i somewhat want and dont want the rule. i am tired of all the newcomers who come in and tell lies about how they "just" got scammed and are not going first to anyone. that just shows how obvious it is they are scamming. i have yet to see one newcomer make a thread saying that they wont go first or use MM and go through with it. They always get banned for scamming.

 

I find it hard for me to make vouches when I have 1 vouch but I cant figure out a way to make myself more credible of being a legit buyer/seller.

I speak for myself in here, I dont like scammers and I dont blame people who dont like MM's for high trades, but if they dont want for smaller one's and they keep on saying they dont want to go first then yeah that's a bad sign.

I think that you can't add rule like that. It must be done via agreement of both sides. You can;t just tel someone - You must pay fees because you're new. There are other ways to solve this, like 50/50 or something like that.

It's your choice either you liek the deal and you buy/sel the gold or just pass to the next customer/seller.

 

SO MANY OF THEM it's annoying almost and i hate to say but most of them are probably from gold4rs xD
