im getting ddos can someone please help me top stop this

its making my comp stress hard

 

Instant solution: Turn internet off and wait it out.

Complicated solution: find out which port the attack is coming from, and have your firewall close it.

 

shouldnt netstat show me what port the attack is comeing from?

 

Care to clarify on how you know you're getting ddosed?

I highly doubt that you are getting Ddosed.... Why would anyone waste their bots to ddos you in the first place.

 

yes actually , i play a rsc p server and there was a mod that abused and i got it on film and got him banned so he is ddosing me

When you think you're getting ddosed, run this:

It'll show you the applications that are running and listening on a port. Run it several times, and then compare them... When you're sure you're not being ddosed, run it again, and compare the list... try seeing if you can find what appears in the list while you're being ddosed and while you're not... You can't "close" a UDP port. Data is sent over regardless, whether or not an application is still listening.

im loling at you inrl.. many people have given you solutions to this, espicially CP,and i bet you havnt even tried them?

and disconnect your internet. see if your comp is still lagging for me.. if it is, your not getting ddosed. if it isnt, you probably are. if it isnt lagging anymore get on another comp, if its laggin you are. if its not. its your comp.

 

laugh all you want , i ahve tried everything people have told me. i have even called me isp but there fucking retardsand said they dont know what a distrubted denial of service attack is..
and i have 2 comps taht are having the same problem.

Change your IP = Problem solved.

 

Turn your net off, or get Zone Alarm firewal and lockdown.

 

If you disconnect your modem, as in remove the power for a minute or so, it should reset your ip which might solve the problem. Well i know it works for my modem.

 

i calledmy isp to get my ip changed but they hung up on me

I still have the Link for the Ddos Download But i dont use unless im scammed :L

best Solution is to shut down you'r interenet for a few days Possibly to be extra safe just Leave you'r Pc Shut Down.

If you have a wireless Router Flick it on and off and It can change you'r I.P sometimes.

Also. The Ddos only Denies you'r web service of connection in cases if they have setup the netframe right.

So the Computer stressing bit isnt a good sign.


Conclusion:
Shut Down PC
Disconnect for you'r connection
Flick Hub Off and On
