im confused please help?!

Hello all! i purchased an account using a middle man. I transferred the money and the other party did the account. The mm says hes going to do a recovery test, and should take up to 2-3 days. I was curious as if it should take about that long.

 

Unless the MM is also holding the other person involved in the sale's money, the MM should NOT hold the account. Have sold a couple of accounts here and I have never heard of that practice.

 

im buying the acc, he took my money and is holding the other guys acc. he said it will take 2-3 days for him to be sure the account is safe and wont be recovered.

 

Who is the MM? Can you link his sythe here, because that sounds extremely weird.

 

using a mm to do a test recovery isn't weird at all.

 

Typically if you're the buyer you're the one who in the past would request a recovery test. Now recovery tests mean absolutely nothing the original owner can always recover it with a few emails to Jagex. This practice has been inefficient for a long time and since it was an unrequested recovery test that seems very suspicious. Please use the report a scammer section.

 

Looks like RV5 was his MM and the trade is now done.
