If you could, would you live forever?

I for one could not live forever. I couldn't stand seeing all the people I love pass away. After your family passes away you have no one. You could never love anyone because they would be gone.
What are your thoughts on this?

Nah, especially not as a human. None of us are meant to last. Make your mark and die; that's the way it's s'posed to be.

 

Immortality could only be described as a punishment to me. Family? Loved ones? What else is there to live for in this shit hole of a planet we are making?

2000 years ago faith ruled this planet, today money rules it. A race fueled by greed doesn't deserve to live forever. The world seems a duller place every year, I don't watch the news anymore it's too depressing. Just another war, or more people killing each other... sooner we die out, the better.

 

Eventually you would get over your loved ones and find new people to love. So yes I would want to live forever.

 

As a human, hell no. As a superhuman being then most definitely. Can save the world forever if it was possible. As a human, no as I believe we should all rest in peace after having a lifetime with the ones you love and lived your life to the fullest like how it was meant to be.

 

id only like to live forever if i was a superhuman like thsGuitarist said. Itd get boring to be just a regular joe living forever, id eventually go insane. But if i were to be superhuman aswell, id love to live as long as i want until i choose to die.

Definitely. I respect life more than anything else. I have wide imagination on worldview and so many different sights on it. I believe that someday we can live forever, it's just a question of time.
