Well I have a lot of a certain item and they are useless to me, if i do like a giveaway, could i get vouched for it?

For a free service such as skilling and other such things it is completely fine to receive vouches, it is a lot more of a thin line with things like giveaways e.g. if you do a giveaway and follow through with giving away the item then I suppose they can vouch for you, however it may be considered "buying" vouches.

You can not be vouched for giveaways. If you were doing a service such as skilling for a user for free, you could be vouched for that however.

Yes, it is allowed! I think it is worth adding on to the replies that you are not allowed to REQUIRE a vouch for the service. So if the person doesn't vouch for you, then tough taters.

You may not require a vouch for a service.
    Eg: Skilling for vouches.

Way to make things ambiguous guys :D

You're allowed to simply ask for a vouch, but you can't require it.
