F5 pking switch doesnt work?

my F hot keys dont work for runescape, im on a HP Laptop does any1 know how to get them to work be much apreciated thanks ?

 

A lot of laptops have a "function switch" button that toggles what the F keys do. Mine looks like an f with a circle on it.

 

ok ill have a look for it, where abouts is it located on the laptop?

 

Would probably be on the bottom right or left.

 

only thing i can see like that is an 'fn' key? fs this isannoying

you have to hold the fn key while you press f5

 

ohye hahah thanks dude is there anyway to make it just f5 as obviously they qiite hard to do at same time during a fight.

ok guys ive found out 'fn' buttong + f5 works. anyway to make it so its just f5 be much easier?

 

Go to best buy and buy the cheapest keyboard you can find that has regular F keys or there may be some settings in the keyboard portion of the control panel but I've never done it.
