I might be just dumb, but i don't get it.

 

He's saying that if goldfarmers chop yews for money to sell, eventually they will bring enough gold into the game that the price of GP in real world dollars will go down. In order for goldfarmers to maintain profit, they will increase the amount of bots they run. The more bots they run, the more yews are brought into the game, until it gets to the point where there is more of a supply for yews than there is a demand. This means that chopping yews will no longer be as profitable, and goldfarmers may stop doing so.
If this happens to all the goldfarming methods, I suppose it could cut down the amount of GP being sold, although it may take some time for this to have a large enough effect.

 

He's saying that there are more bots, so there will be less $/hr due to crashing prices, so less gold (supply), same demand, higher prices. However, he fails to realize that there will be MORE goldfarmers with MORE bots, so that there will still be the same amount of gold brought into the game from goldfarming

 

thank you beestar never thought about that but wont more bots cost more money to make less? so they will eventually sell for higher till they sell? but yet again thanks.

 

My thoughts were initially that a real rock may have hit you. I don't understand your idea the structure of it isn't helping either.

Its like, very true.

If I run 30 bot doing yews, (EXAMPLE) it gets me 30k yews an hour, I'd sell in ge, and it would cause the demand for yews to drop slightly (With more bots per person doing this, it'll cause a dent) overtime yews will be flooded in GE, causing the price of yews to drop.
Dropping GP price = dropping $ per hour made botting.
Pay 10$ for a wc auth, useable on 1 bot. Means you'd have to chop over 30k yews to make up for that 10$ auth code, which will be pointless(It'll take more than 30k yews once prices drop of them being flooded in the GE)

Less people doing it because there is no money to be made = less gp coming into the game (Even if people continue to bot yews, it will bring more YEWS into the game, not gp, because no one will be buying, and it'll be a lot cheaper)

Less people doing it = less gold being sold = gold price rises.
