    Idea for next Election.

Instead of voting.. How about everyone in America just doesn't vote. Then we'll see who gets put in power. There could be flaws in this no doubt, but it could have more of a meaning than voting itself.

    Idea for next Election.

How is that going to help America?
No president would lead into chaos and even more trouble.
Do you really think that republicans and democrats are going to compromise on every issue?

Could you at least point out why you think it would be better?

Obviously if no one votes, then no one can get elected. It's somewhat of a statement that THE ENTIRE country is making. We need to do something as one, this seems like the only thing.

If no one votes and someone still gets elected.. Then there's something seriously wrong with this country.

And you think democrats and republicans are going to work together?
I don't think that will ever happen.

No, that's why this country needs to wake the fuck up and do something. Spread the word, and show them how this is would support neither parties, but tricking the government. I don't see any other way

Disagreements between different groups would be here until the end of time.

This in no way will help america it will just launch it into more chaos.

Either way, we're headed to chaos. Our government has been corrupt for so long, I doubt the elections are even real anymore.

I don't think this is an intelligent discussion. Popular vote doesn't mean anything, you obviously know nothing of how our government works. The elections are decided by an Electoral College (which can be found in the Constitution.) and the number of votes per state is based on state population. Now before you make another post about making some kind of statement, study up on the government and your rights as a citizen. This proves something about the average intelligence of the forum users.

You talk like I don't know x) You might as well say I think the president passes the laws LOL. Anyway, listening to the radio teaches me more than I did in school. Which also shows how great the education system is :)

But how do the electors knows who to pick? When the citizens vote, but it doesn't mean they have to listen

You sir are an idiot you probably watch fox news and believe everything they tell you. By American's not voting we will see who gets the power? What kind of argument is that? This is a pointless thread and if you learn more from the radio then you have some other issues. What makes them right and not your text book or teacher?

The electors usually vote based on popular vote, but it has been proved that doesn't always work. That is why Bush got elected. Al Gore clearly got many more popular votes but the electoral college chose Bush.

It's more about the issues focused on in the textbook, which are worthless. Let's just say no one I know knows who Nikola Tesla is.

Element, you didn't understand my post I guess

Well, it is difficult to make a logical and intelligent argument when you don't have a foundation of the basics. Here you are pointlessly arguing something that would never happen and would have no outcome. The better thing to do would be to take up arms and lead a revolt if you want to make a statement. The Constitution allows for that, chances are you will be slain because it wouldn't be a popular revolution.

Here you haven't even pointed out an issue to base an argument on.
