Question, not a rant.

Is there a specific reason why you need to wait 60 seconds between each spam report? Agreed, there should be a time limit to prevent accidental double reports, but if you wander around the market 50% of the threads do not follow the stickies/forum rules and I find it quite discouraging that I have to wait a minute between each report. I'm sure there is a reasoning behind this, and I'd love to hear it, hence my post. Thanks in advance.

 

The timer is there to prevent someone coming in and flooding the system with fake spam reports. Sure you could still spam via one per minute but the quantity would be much less than one every few seconds. It's great to see you going out reporting posts/threads that break the rules, keep it up!

 

Okay, had an inkling it had something to do with flooding. Thanks for confirming this. This can be closed.
