I was just perma-banned on my staker that I just bought ($200) + 500m.

Question: Why was I perma-banned if all I did was buy 400m OSRS? I thought that was a 14-day ban?

 

Who did you buy the gold from? If you bought it from a known gold seller who might be flagged by Jagex chances are you'll probably get banned too.

Was your account you bought from a trusted source who hasn't done anything illegal in terms of breaking Jagex's rules in the past before buying it?

Honestly, I think Jagex is just sick of both parties, the sellers and the buyers. They seem to be doing a fine job of cracking down on RWT lately from both ends, which isn't bad for them but sucks for all of us.

 

Well less rwt = more bonds bought for gp = profit for them

 

Maybe the staking account that you bought had sold gold and that's why its banned.
Buying is 14 day ban and selling is perm I believe.

 

I'm starting to believe this, but why would the user RSWAP sell gp off a maxed staker...? Doesn't make sense.

Going by the perm ban Ide say the staker was probably used to sell gold b4 you purchased it.

I could be wrong tho as I dont have any experience in RWT, just what ive read on reddit.

 

I'm pretty pissed. I even planned on xfering my 500m to my pure hours before it says I received my ban.

Yeah but then I would buy GP to stake with and fuel my addiction more. I think being out of $700-1000 (including past experiences) will teach me, especially being an 18 year old. I have money, but I can't afford to lose THIS much with no guaranteed reward.
