I was given 14m

Today when I was in the world 1 GE some guy randomly traded me 12m cash and 2m in items, is there a chance I will get banned if Jagex think that I hacked the guys account and traded it to my account? I asked him if he was quitting but he just logged out?

 

There's really no reason to be afraid.. Jagex can't do anything if some random guy just gave you money. No worries

 

Are you kidding? Jagex understands with free trade comes gold transferring. Unless your ip is on his account, there will be no porblems.

 

You are wrong. People have been banned when given items from stolen accounts. There was a thread on here earlier this week about 6+ people being banned from killing a stolen account somewhere and looting.

 

0 chance of that happening. Stop worrying about it and enjoy your cash.

A lot of GP changes hands each day, so it's virtually impossible for you to get banned for something like this. Just sit back and enjoy the free moolah!

Doubt jagex will do a thing, plus they can tell if its RWT or from the same IP etc.

 

I have seen bans happen, but i doubt it will come. If anything you will get banned from account "hijacking" even though you had nothing to do with it. This happend with people that the "recover team" of chessys account randomly gave away high cost items. Causing people who had nothing to do with it to get banned. But for 14m, I doubt it will matter.

 

You're IP address won't be the same, so you'll be fine.

 

There is no worry if at the rare chance they did ban you, you could easily tell them to check the ip's and never have to worry because they will be completely different.

I've transfered maxed cash to multiple of my mules and they haven't touched me.
