Banned For Not Botting

Vid kinda explains it all. Its from bot busting event 4/4/2013 around GMT 13

Long story short: Be lvl 3 account. Pick Flax. Recieve manual PERMANENT BAN.

Ban was taken off 5 minutes later, becouse friends of guy in the video spammed Mod Mat K cc for that time.

Jagex basicly bans legit account with no proof of cheating just by random. (and also takes permanent ban away just by 3 ppl writing "you banned legit player" Proof of unban: http://i.imgur.com/0SSH9bt.png ).

This is simply outrageous.

 

So you knew about the bot busting event and you were purposely picking the flax dressed like a bot in front of J mods, hoping they would ban you. Then you complain how outrageous it is. Something must be wrong with you.

Point is, that manual banning is not viable way to fight against bots. If they ban people just by logic "hes on flax field and is lvl 3", it is wrong. Of course friend of mine did it on purpose. It was about testing will Jewgex really even check the bans they give for example first locking accounts and then watching are there real evidence of botting.

What they did here was just ban of this legit test account and even other legit players who were afking @yews. Also you can see Mod Mat K does not even ask Largepouch to for example answer him. (This can be seen in twitch tv proadcast).

This is not right. Stating othervice is silly.

 

Exact same thing happened to me, only that I didn't even see a J-Mod was there since he was invisible.

 

The point is. They cant figure out the players using bot client.

 

Dont call him an idiot.

This guy was clearly trying to demonstrate their flawed manual perm banning process. Claiming to be able to identify on the spot whos botting and who isnt, and dissing out bans right there and then to satisfy the army of mod-wannabes following the J-mods.

When as seen in the video, they actually have no idea, and simply guess with common sense, looking for random generated names and usually 3 combat, this guy is not an idiot for baiting Jagex, although it was risky and could of not gotten unbanned, someone had to showcase that Jagex as per usual, lie through their teeth in regards to their bot detection systems.

 

Thats really poor by Jagex...
