Dude, yeah I felt that shit too. 5.8 apparently? Where are you located? I'm in VA but apparently it was felt all across the East coast.

Btw I'm in class and the computer screens and desks were shaking like crazy. Felt like the floor was coming out from under me too -_-

Apparently it was felt in NY, but I didnt feel anything.

 

It came all the way up to Canada apparently some of my friends in southern Ontario felt it.

I felt it in school.... I just thought that people were going up the stairs....

 

I checked my staircase because I thought someone was coming up it, just very loudly. I was confused about what it was until you posted that I had no clue it was an earthquake

 

I'm in Virginia, I felt it. To be honest, I thought it was pretty cool. I heard the earthquake went for hundreds of miles, my friends from Toronto told me they felt it as well. But, I hope no life's were lost.

 

I live near a rock quarry as well, so I'm pretty used to it.

 

I thought a helicopter or something was going overhead, till I realized how bad the house was shaking, very intense.

 

I lived about 300km from Japan for 6 years. Bitches don't know.
