Just bought my first mac

Waddup guys, i purchased my first mac today, it was a family friends old imac from 2003, running OS 10.2.8 (Jaguar). Im attempting to set up rsbuddy but i cant seem to get the java file to load, where would i update my java in OS 10.2.8 because i do not get the option in the dropdown bar of the little apple in the top left. Also how may bots would i be able to run with these specs?

512MB Memory
800 MHz PowerPC G4

 

Im on a macbook pro, dont know about the java.. Its from 2003? i doubt it could run more than 1 bot with 512mb ram..

 

Yeah, you'd barely be able to run 1 bot smoothly, even on low.

A Mac from 2003 won't be able to handle Runescape. I had an eMac from 2004 and I would lag to shit just trying to load the screen when you first log in.

I think i searched Java preferences in the search bar. Then I moved one of the Java settings to the top. My advice is to just search youtube lol. I was able to run like 4 bots on my old 2005 iMac.

 

Most I've used with my MacBook Pro is 7. But that was like 60% usage.

 

This 2008 white MB can run 7 bots, 4GB RAM, 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, in short.



OT, 1 bot is probably sufficient to take up your computer resources.

 

Thats the macbook im on, and it handles runescape like crap, luckily I got it for free from school
