    Hello Mod gentlemen. I hate doing this report, I was even very patient not to do it so that this ended in good terms, however it was not like that.

    I wanted a bot that would look for the names or "Rsn" of the game that were available within the Osrs game and have to avoid looking for them within the game. This makes it easier to search just for the simplicity of copying and pasting, and if a name appears "Not taken" I go to the game and take it.

    The 15 november, I asked Apple to develop this bot for me. . He asked me if it was a Discord bot or a runescape bot. I asked him if he was familiar with the Runescape game interface that is used to change names, otherwise it was going to be very difficult for him to understand me; I gave several examples, showed him the interface of the game, and asked if he was familiar with this. Then I showed him the example of an OSRS public discord bot that everyone knows, and returns results after typing an "Rsn" and that shows all the abilities of a character. He said he understood what I wanted.

    On November 16, He mentioned that the bot was already finished! and then we talked about the price . We were looking for a fair price, I explained from my point of view that it would be practical for me to use a level 3 account and verify names, but I wanted the Discord bot idea just to simplify things a bit more. finally agreed to $25.

    On November 19,
    The payment was made, Then at night the first tests of the bot were made, it was working on my server, that day During the tests of the bot I noticed the first deficiency that I saw: it returned a positive result when a player took a name; But it said, when looking for a name Not taken: "This user does not exist! Potentially banned" I explained this to Apple to fix it, you are supposed to look for names "not taken" Not that it throws me two possibilities and I have to go to game to find out. Apple agreed and accepted.

    During November 20 I asked him if the adjustment would be made, he replied that he was busy and would not do it that day.

    On November 21 I wrote to him if I had any news, and he told me that everything was done.
    We did the second test and the first observation was resolved very well by Apple.
    I was happy that the bot was working, and I thanked him; But I happened to write an Rsn that the bot threw as "Not taken" I went to the game and it turns out that it was already taken.
    I showed this to Apple and he told me that Osrs takes rsn also from Rs3. We discuss this case in non-relevant details here, but in the end he agreed to work on this, It is not my fault and it was beyond my knowledge that Osrs will take names also from Rs3, I only asked for a bot that will work as the interface of the game.

    - On November 22 I wrote to Apple and he said he was very busy, probably tomorrow.
    -On On November 23rd he did not respond to my messages.

    - On November 24, I told him about the possibility of reimbursement since this situation was boring me and I lost interest in this bot, And Apple told me: "I never said that I could not finish it, the one I created for you was the only free time that I had, I didn't expect it to take longer
    because i never knew i had to do it for rs3 too "
    Then I asked again how long it would take, Apple replied 1d-4d.

    I was starting to get impatient but still agreed because I have already done several business with Apple and he is not a bad boy. I actually hate making this report against him.

    - On November the 26, I said that I was not happy with the service, it had been 2 days and I did not receive from Apple at least one update, message, or anything that would reassure me and remove the possibility of doubt from me. So I asked for a refund.

    After testing on November 21, the bot was never tested again. Apple barely responded to my messages and when they did it was very brief, simply arguing that he was busy, that his schedule was too tight, or that he was simply getting irritated. I admit that I was impatient and excited for the bot, and wanted at least to be informed of what was happening, its absence was such that I had to wait hours and days to receive at least a word and then be absent again.

    I tried to be understanding and kind, especially when he said that his bot was already finished, but why didn't we go to the tests and finish with this, was he just ignoring me or was he just playing with me? I think those are not good business practices.

    She recently said, to add to the burden, that she got sick with Covid; I didn't know what to do under this situation. I don't know if it's true or not, but that means I had to wait longer, where I don't know what the limit is as Apple didn't specify anything except when it said 1d-4d.

    Yesterday, December 4, he said that he would work on PC, he was connected all day, I was waiting for a signal from him, and he just ignored me.
    When I texted him today saying I would make a report, he responded almost immediately angry.

    I want a refund of my money, I no longer want this bot, I have lost total interest in it. According to Apple, He is the one affected here, he will not reimburse, because I must pay him for his lost time; and the customer's time is worth nothing, it seems to me, calling me an idiot because I was annoying and asking about the service that I paid for. I had decided to leave things at that, and not do this report, I didn't want to claim my $ 25 for Apple to buy lunch.. Then I decided that this is not fair to me.

    @Apple6 delivered the product you specified on November 21. @Fredd when you say "It is not my fault and it was beyond my knowledge that Osrs will take names also from Rs3", you are right that you aren't required to know the inner-workings of Runescape. HOWEVER, the problem isn't that you didn't have knowledge about OSRS and RS3. The issue is that you ASSUMED they were handled in a such a way, and that bit you in the ass because you weren't specific enough with your software requirements.

    You can't expect @Apple6 to read your mind or guess your needs. From November 15 to November 21, all you spoke of was OSRS, and all the screenshots were of OSRS. Any reasonable person would assume that's what you wanted the bot for, as there was no mention of RS3 that can be seen in the conversation screenshots you provided.

    It was nice of @Apple6 to offer you free additional work in order to meet the new requirement you added 1.5 weeks into production, but he delivered the bot to the specifications you provided, on time and without issue. Therefore, staff won't enforce a refund in this case.

    @Apple6 @Fredd

    If the software in the state which it has been paid for has not been delivered, then it needs to be within 48 hours. Refusal to deliver the product that has been paid for will result in a ban and DNT until the bot is delivered or the payments are refunded to the buyer.
