If they are now I'm sure there are quite a few people who would like to change their name.

Just speculation here, but I think it was because people were complaining about the name? "You Jew" could be taken the wrong way, and I think admins were just trying to stop the complaining about his name.

I'd just like to state, once again, that it is complete speculation on my part, and you'd be better off asking Nick why it was changed, because I'm sure he knows more about it

 

Name changes aren't allowed for just anyone as it would cause confusion. But if you an admin well enough you can get anything.

You do know admins have rules too. Its called the admin code. Sythe I think could be the only one to do whatever. Matthew probably could be he was always against name changes. Unless recently they changed rules lol...

I don't think it's ever actually been a RULE that name changes are not allowed, more of a "don't do it for every tom, dick and harry" because it does cause confusion, there are cases where a name change should exist, such as You Jew, since it caused lots of stupid bitching...

People complained about his name, so it was changed.

Some saw it as an insensative name, it's like having the username (insert racial slur) here. Some people might see it as OK, while others may see it as offensive.
