Explanation of the trade:
So I had the name Leolulu for 1-2 weeks from now.
Then I asked just from wondering if someone would remembers it, and just to see if it's worth much.
After that, I saw some 0's so it wasnt worth something (I tought)
So someone wanted to buy it, for 250m first, because he was a huge fan of Leolulu.
So I told him that I didn't know that I want to get rid of it, and would sleep a night to think.
So he started pushing me that he needed to go on a vacation, and offered 325m, and later 400m.
Since I was a little broke on RS, I thought well lets get rid of it, and do it.
But then it went to a whole other direction.

We agreed on having a middleman, Mootrucks in this case.
Like the normal procedure we agreed on some things, who the responsibility had, wich server for the mills etc etc.
After I gave my info, to Mootrucks, it took a couple of minutes.
But then in the meanwhile I got message in the group discord, (where the buyer + MM was in)
That I got anti-scammed, the buyer left the discord directly, and no evidence was shown that it was his name, the only evidence was that Video approved to get it back, even when I asked mootrucks for other evidence that it was stolen or sniped.

No evidence on Sythe was shown that the name was stolen (Mootrucks claimed that the ''original'' owner had it for a long time. Normally if you've a name that long, you will show evidence that it was stolen or sniped (IMO). Besides that Mootrucks told me to contact the original owner of the name. (Guess what he never responded nor in-game nor on discord) So I went straight to Video for some questions, and evidence. (Guess what no evidence, only that he approved it) So back after all, I asked around if that's the normal way to anti-scam. And no it isn't.
Firstly, they judged me on my runescape email name.
Second, they judged me that I was ''Looking after it''
and Third, How would it become available after all?

Video claims that the name was not intended to become free and belongs to someone else , then how did it become free anyway? The owner must of name changed himself and removed the name of his account, unless the guy got hacked? Which I doubt since theirs been no reports ever about this or about the name.

Amount scammed:
400m + 25m bonds for namechanges.

How they scammed:
They said anti-scam, but there's no proof that it was sniped before, or it's been stolen.

If there's no evidence of a stolen name, or that it's sniped.
Then I want the name back, or the money that's been offered.
I don't believe there was any evidence at all, on the things that'd been said.

 

Thanks for filing a report ^^. Couple points I’d like to mention:

I’m an admin of the discord and a colleagues with all the people in the report.

As for the name, sensitive payment details was shown to Video as proof that he owned it before any of the things you mentioned happened. Many players also knew him ingame by the name Leolulu as well for several years including trusted players like Mootrucks.

The original owner of Leolulu tried transferring it off to a new account but it was sniped before he could take it. The email you mentioned didn’t play a factor at all in the anti, but the name was awfully suspicious. You’ve bought names from me before so I personally don’t think that you have a malicious intention but not quite sure how you got the name.

The user in question does not use Sythe but was the pretty clear original owner of Leolulu.
The name itself holds little value, but holds sentimental value to the original owner, hence why the anti took place.

 

Well, seems a bit weird that the transfer for him took like 5-10 mins, since I got anti-scammed in like 1 minutes, so explain that.

 

And also: Ty for your reply, but I don't really think that a payment can be proof of being owner of a rsn.

 

I mean considering you know the timing of when the second name change was done says it all -.-

Anyways, payment details from Jagex are typically used for account recovery and are better than ingame screenshots imo. Many trusted Sythe users could vouch that he had the name as well.

I’ll leave the rest up to the mods though and can forward more details regarding the mod in my discord and evidence regarding the name

 

So based on what you saying right now, I highlight:

Then I can actually claim all names like: ''I've owned the name: ''Iron'' for Example'' but got sniped due a transfer, many people can vouch for that, and got some random payment details from Jagex, how is that any proof even with (Trusted) Vouchers? There's not even a proof that he tried to transfer it between accounts.''

Also it's weird that the '' owner '' claims that the name was sniped, but yet never cared to make a report on Sythe about it, but right now it meant a lot to him? The whole story of you guys just don't match.
