An old offense and its impact on ME

Fellow Sythe staff members,

I want to first thank all of you for your hard work that you put in for this site and community. You truly have created and continue to maintain the best market place for gamers to buy, sell, and communicate with one another.

I joined the ranks of this forum back in 2007 and for years enjoyed the services provided by all the dedication shown by this staff. Just a year ago my account 'Miked1' was banned for admitting to scam. At first I was angry and upset because it was due to me replying on a thread that some years ago I scammed my cousin's account. This was true but I thought because it wasn't connected to Sythe and because it was much like a family prank that it wouldn't be a problem.

I thought about it long and hard which led me to realize it didn't matter if it was a Sythe related scam or not because of the responsibilities a staff has of protecting members of the community. I know how serious scamming is taken by the staff and want to emphasize that scamming is not for me. I saw the consequences and from it learned that any kind of scamming is unacceptable.

I am ready to come back to the Sythe community. Not as some troll or scammer but someone who wants to give back and contribute. We all make mistakes but someone who has learned from them gets more motivation to become a better person inside and out. This I have experienced.
