help using western union?

ok i have a couple offers set up for gold..

i just made a w/u account.. does it need to be verified to recieve gold?
how safe is it compared to paypal?

you don't need a verified account to receive gold as long as your going to pick it up at a WU counter IRL, and it's IMO the safest option if you're using an OMM.

 

It is indeed very safe. As long as you withdraw the cash from WU, then its in your hands!

Most trusted people will withdraw the cash, and then provide the RSGP, so its perfect for them.

A.) No it doesn't. You don't need to create a Western Union Account to send or receive money. All transactions can be done in a store if needed. Petrol Stations, Super Markets, and Post Shops, are just a few of the many places that have Western Union.

Q.) How safe is it compared to paypal?
A.) WU (Western Union) is 100% safe IF you pick up the money before sending the goods. Unlike paypal, once the money has been picked up IRL, it cannot be charged back. Be careful though, if someone offers to send the WU and then you need to give them the goods before picking up the money, be very careful. WU payments can be canceled before they've been picked up. It's happened to me, and I lost 150m.

WU is the best option if you don't want a chance of getting scammed. BUT, there is a drawback to WU.. you MUST pick up the money BEFORE giving the gold. If he sends the money and you don't pick it up before giving him the gold then you run the risk of having the person cancel the payment leaving you scammed.

And generally people only trust very trusted people with the above method... so it's hard to use WU if you aren't super trusted, unless you use the OMM route.. which costs.

Also, if you use playerauctions then you won't get scammed/chargebacked. I sell gold there all the time and I never have once gotten a chargeback. Just a suggestion if WU doesn't sound like a good option.
