Discuss your views on Smoking, Not marihuana I mean ciggaretes.

 

My father smokes, but I don't mind, he's been smoking since he was 17, and now he's around 57 years old. I only dislike it when people smoke inside like a house or a car, which sucks because it smells bad inside the house or car.

I absolutely dislike people who smoke. They have no consideration for well beings of people around them. Do they not understand that they're not only slowly digging themselves into a deeper hole, but also the people around them who are effected by second-hand smoking. I feel extremely sorry for the war veterans who were forced to eat tobacco before anyone knew the deadly consequences of doing so. However, I have absolutely no sympathy for people who suffer from any types of cancer due to smoking. They choose to smoke despite knowing the deadly outcome. You might argue they're addicted and can't do anything. But why did they start in the first place?

If you were too lazy to read this, I very much dislike people who smoke. It's absolutely disgusting and does not make you cool.

 

As much as I used to be against it, I smoke now. Started off with Camel Crush which tasted good but then moved to American Spirits which is pure tobacco without additives. I do have a few personal rules about my smoking though. Not in my house or car or half an hour before I have to go into work.

 

Smoking disgusts me.. I don't hate the person, but I hate the act. The smell drives me nuts and I hate how some people smoke while in the car/house with them.
What it does to your lungs is very disgusting as well. I've been to the "Human Body Museum," or something along those lines. At the end of it it had actual smoker's lungs in cases. They were black as ash and it was very disturbing considering what they're suppose to look like.

Not counting the whole "I can't quit." Quitting is a matter of will-power that people just don't seem to have..

 

I don't mind it, you can't stop people from doing what they love.

Suicide in the United States is against the law. Smoking is also a suicide but over a longer period of time.

The smell is horrible but it looks badass on some people.

 

That's why they have candy cigarettes so people can look "badass" w/o getting Lung Cancer.

 

I don't like when girls smoke, other than that its fine. i smoke cigarettes sometimes, but usually just when i'm high or whatever. I see no problem with allowing people to do what they want however i do like the laws in Chicago that prohibit smoking indoors and such because its not like your that much of a fiend that you cant wait till you get outside

 

I hate smoking..everytime someone smokes in public, they deteriorate a little kids lungs or an old persoon with second hand smoke..they're usually inconsiderate and smoke right in front of entrances to stores. It smells awful and makes me cough so I strongly dislike it.

 

I smoke but never inside or in an area where the smell lingers around, only in one jumper so mum doesn't have to wash all my clothes that stink :/

I'm very well aware that it's killing me and it's not good for me, but I'm quitting.

 

If someone is smoking he or she doesnt look cool at all in my eyes. None of my parents, sister or brother smoke. I dont smoke and I hope I will never get into it.

 

Smoking is pretty stupid, it doesn't give you a good high or anything and it kills you. Saying that my nan used to smoke about 40+ a day since she was 16 and she lived to 80+.

 

you can't stop people from doing what they love. but off course smoking is a bad habit but people are addicted from it , it causes cancer but they are aware from these

Yes, I do not smoke but I think it must be aweful for someone taking pleasure of something while at the same time knowing it`s destroying you.

 

My brother smokes a lot, personally I am used to the 'after' smell, but I had when someone smokes beside me.

 

I don't really mind smokers. I don't do it myself, but I don't think less of anyone if they do it. Also like gohan said you can look pretty "badass" but if your smoking just to look cool, then your pretty stupid. It also is a turnoff to many girls.
