Wrongly infracted where to post ?

So I was infracted for spamming on sythe.

Is there anyway I can dispute this? Because I don't think its fair.

Your best bet of disputing is to PM the mod that gave you the infraction.

Do not post in the dispute forum. You'll probably be infracted again for ignoring the stickies.

That's interesting, I might make a suggestion to add a forum.

 

I wouldn't make a suggestion for it, they used to have the section for disputing an infraction but now have gotten rid of it.

 

Don't worry about it too much. The infraction will expire in a month anyway. As you don't get two more infractions nothing will happen. If you do it'll only be a small 3 day temporary ban.

 

That's not the problem, I just don't think its fair. Is there really nothing you can do? Seems unfair to the members...

I PMed the mod, then he PMed me back, saying that something that I didn't do and now stop responding.

I only sent him two PMs anyways, I didn't want to piss him off. But yeah he didn't respond, so I will take your advice.

 

I understand. If nothing is being done about it and your very sure your infraction was unfair it's best to PM another member to get there opinion, preferably one higher ranked. If this staff member believes that the infraction should stay then don't message anyone else.

 

Although I did not give the infraction, I would've if I had done the report. Your post did nothing to support the thread and if anything, impacted based upon no proof. Sorry, just the way I see it. Many members post this "spam" yet we all must understand, our opinions are just that, an opinion. Either support the intent of the thread, or pass it by.

 

But I see these posts everywhere. The guy said I was infracted for accuse him as a scammer. But I didn't I never said he was.

So tell me how I broke the rules? My post did have to do with the post because I was trying to warn members not to trade him because it was suspicious and guess what, someone did use him and he got scammed.

I was infracted for trying to help the community? And my insist was right, so why should I be infracted? Please explain.

You implied he was by claiming he should be TWC'ed.

Your post did not contribute to the topic, as you had no proof whatsoever that he was scamming at the time. Whether or not he scammed after you posted that is irrelevant.

It was only your opinion that he was suspicious. You could have been wrong.

Listen, look at it this way, I can go now to many market threads and say "Do not trade. Seems suspicious. TWC". I'll get infracted. Unless you have SOLID proof that he's a scammer, then post on his thread with the relevant proof. You wouldn't be infracted.

 

Well the guy after me posted the same thing and he was never infracted.

And I wasn't wrong he was a scammer! So I got infracted for being right.

If your 100% sure he wasn't report him.

 

It doesn't matter if he turned out to be a scammed. What if he was legitimate? You could have been scaring away customers. Would you like it if I went on your threads and posted "Don't trade with OwninNPwnin, he seems suspicious!"? No, I didn't think so.
