[Food] Doritos Loaded - Cool Ranch Review

I forgot to take a picture of the box so I stole a picture temporarily. Really interesting review coming on January 26, 2017, FYI.

Price paid: $4.99 for a box of 16 (nacho / spicy are still at $2 for a box of 16).





So despite leaving these in for the upper limit of 9-10 minutes, almost all of the cheese came out. It may look like a decent amount, but that was essentially all of the cheese. Not nearly enough as the spicy ones which I had a few boxes.. The breading also seemed thicker and the product was really dry. Basically, think of the vagina of girls you talk to. Yeah. That dry.



The smell, though. Ranch frozen products always smell good... and these tasted good too! The 1-2 Doritos that had a good amount of cheese to breading ratio were good. Maybe i had a bad batch and/or have to adjust my cooking time idk but it is an interesting junk food item nonetheless.

Edit: 2/5. Upsetting, but pretty great potential. Probably a bad batch. Keep water handy.
Formerly rated this high 3/5 thinking I got a bad batch or I cooked them wrong. I did not. Spicy Doritos Loaded still good though.

I'd get these again if they were sold for $2. I think $4.99 is steep.

I love cheese stuffed products. I'll keep an eye out for these and see if i can snag a pack.

These literally just came out so you should check again . Walmart has been getting rid of the regular + spicy ones but yeah Walmart is your best bet for new products usually.


Anyone who gets this, bake it for the 9 minutes or honestly maybe 8 minutes and check on it. I've had a few of these since they were on sale and they are best if you cook them until right before one is about to explode.

haha same, I had the jalapeno and cheese version maybe 2 years ago? I gagged.

 

Did you overcook them like in the pictures above? If the cheese comes out they are bad.

Or did you get them when they were at 7/11 or BK?

 

I picked it up at walmart but yeah they leaked all over. I cooked half the box and then they sat in the freezer for close to a year. Freezer burnt to hell wasn't safe after that.

 

They taste muchhh better if you cook them for less time but I kinda forgot about that. Cheese comes out => bad Ritos Loaded.

 

I just bought these and cooked them. I think they're delicious. Yeah, $5 for a box is definitely steep, but I loved them.

 

The food looks for fat americans.

 

Oooh maybe I got a bad box... all I know is that I'm never getting this flavor again in particular.

 

meh i just bought a couple more boxes of the ranch. they're pretty good, key is to actually watch them and not over cook. i cooked them in a toaster oven and they seemed to cook well
