Why did I get permed on first time ban?

My account got banned for botting, Insta-perm. I was pretty sure there was now a 3 strikes rule in place, so wth? I've seen others get bot bustin' moderate for these types of offences, and my other account banned for botting a year ago actually had done 3 previous times.

The account was members as well.

 

Was your ban a "macroing major"?

 

yep. The exact same thing happened to another user (person who got us banned botting both accounts) and he only got moderate

 

How long were you botting on the account?

 

according to said person botting, 20 minutes. Say at least a day, all previous levels had been hand done.

 

They no longer do that 3 strike bull crap that everyone thinks is true. They're going to perm ban without warnings.

Why some get moderates is honestly quite random. There is no rhyme or reason other than maybe a longer membership or things such as that.

 

think it might be stats on RS3. my 07 account which had 99s on rs3 got 3 before the final strike, but this one which ain't logged into 07 got hammered. I think you're kinda' right though, pretty random.

 

i got banned also but not perm just for 2 days, after that its a perm ban i think

 

They are doing alot of instant permenant bans now, they can be appealed but appeals will never be read.

 

Never heard of the 3 rules strike, they usually just ban you.

 

The 3-strikes "rule" is a myth.

 

they don't read ban appeals for botting anymore.
