I just hit my cat and now it's afraid to me..

I picked him up and I sat on the couch while watching TV and then he doesn't stop biting my hand (Tender Loving Care bite lol) I know he's just playing but when I tap his bum (as a sign that I don't like what he is doing) he just keeps on biting until I get annoyed and then I hit his bum a little bit powerful and then he bites me again and I hit him powerful and then he wanted to run and I picked him up, brought him to my room and then I hit his bum again and then he runs away and hid under my bed. I tried to get him under but he seems to be fighting back and then I used a cloth as a glove and then I got him. And he looks so freaked out like he saw a Monster. I scratched his back and chin for a bit and then he bite me (not too hard, didn't even left me a bite mark) and then I hit his bum again harder and then I left him down and then he hid again under my bed. At the moment, he's under the bed until now. lol

Are you certain it was because he was scared? Sometimes when my cat scratches the lounge we tap his nose as that's more of a dominance sign instead of his back side, but my dad usually forgets to hit his nose and hits his back or bottom and he'll run under the table or bed and when you go in to see him he'll jump out and attack you like he's playing a game. Whenever your cat bites you instead of hitting him I would just walk away and let him know that you don't like that, my cat is extremely well trained but even then when he "plays" he'll bite me and claw me because that's how cats play, you'll never take that away from a cat so don't stress too much especially if he's young. If he starts getting extremely rough just walk away or tap him on the nose ONCE and walk away he'll eventually learn too rough is bad.

This kind of a behavior is quite normal in cats. Your cat is currently under going a hyper mood situation here. I'm sure he is not scared of you, he was just playing with you. Chill down.

I think getting another cat could prevent this. So they both can play. :)

Just get him more toys to play with so he's not always going for your hands, hitting him will only make him scared. When he hides just leave him be until he's ready to come out, cats and dogs like to be left alone some times just like people.

My cats used to be like this, they're playing. Just tap them on the end of the nose, and they won't do it again. Cat's hate that. Mine are all well behaved since I started telling them no properly.

Cat sounds like an ultimate troll.

I don't think that it's that big of a deal, sounds like it's playing to me.

This is why i lean more towards dogs. No drama, just love haha

If you don't like what he/she is doing, rather than smacking him/her. Spray him/her with a water pistol or use a cap gun for a load noise.

I suggest NOT doing the cap gun with a load noise, it will scare the cat more than anything you're doing currently, it may even make your cat even more scared of you, my cat get's really scared when me or my dad yell and tries to get away from it like he's upset from the yelling.

Or you could try a whip? Maybe some nipple tassels and anal beads?

But srsly. This sounds quite normal, I've experienced this kind of behaviour with both cats and young dogs. Relax, give the cat time to chill and remember to offset any disciplinary action with some TLC.
