I have £8,000 to invest in the RS Blackmarket, what should I do?

Personally, id take a smaller portion and invest it in runescape, but take the bulk and invest irl, investing irl is way better then investing in a game that could potentially fail any day.

Ever hear the phrase don't put all your eggs in one basket ? This applies to the black market. There are lots of people who have been doing this for years and have way more knowledge from experience. Invest your money in the stock market, and put some of it away towards schooling. You will thank yourself later in the future.

 

I highly reccomend you not start a dice clan, there are too many big ones going and getting people too change dice clan is difficult.

Also to start a dice clan you need a group of trustworthy friends that are loyal and are going to put in, you can't start a successful dice clan by yourself. ( I am ranked in a dice clan btw)

I suggest things like gold farming or something along those lines.

 

It looks like, there is to much people in every section.
You should take your time, look where you can make must profit.
RSGP should be a good market and 8000 is a good start.

The gold market is by far the easiest way to make money in the sense of buy low sell high with lots of buyers and selling of gold. however now the market is a mess, so maybe wait a few months and go into that.

 

If I were you, I'd be going for phats, since they always become more and more expensive..

 

I already have a mint Yaris That wouldn't be an investment, buying a car loses money. Unless of course it's a classic.

I've decided against gold trading, the market is too unstable and the barriers to entry are too high.

If you create a dicing clan with a USP there is opportunity to make money. I think that's what i'll be doing

I was thinking this, but it depends on the price of gold. e.g. if a new bot comes out and supply of gold rises a lot, the price of gold will decline and so the investment will bring in more REAL GP but less REAL value.

 

Phats have sky-rocketed. You still have the chance, honestly invest in a phat set or a stack of blue phats

Investing in RuneScape now would be a dumb decision to make. The game is slowly deteriorating and there's a constant decline in the number of players every year.

Most of the established gold sellers have already been buying/selling gold for months (even years) and they know all of the ins and outs of the gold market.

There are huge risks to investing in the gold market, such as frequent charge backs, competition against the already established gold sellers, GP rollbacks by Jagex. Honestly you will end up losing a lot of $$$ and probably won't make any profit at all.

Do something useful and productive with your money such as investing it into an education to pay for tuition instead of wasting it on a shitty online game.

 

You work at a bank and are asking teenagers from Sythe what to do with 8 grand? Doing anything with gold isnt smart. Accounts get hacked and banned and you lose 8000 bucks. Just be smart and invest it irl not into gaming items. You are young with a foot in the door of what could be a very decent job. 8k in cd's low risk mutual funds and long term investments like bonds would be an educated thing to do

Runescape isn't a long term investment because who knows when the game will shut down? Updates and stuff can shift the market in your favor or against you and it is just stupid to put money into such a risky investment. it would be much smarter to start investing in the real world, because RS isn't going to always be there to throw money at and most other games don't really have the market for RWT as RS does.

TL;DR: Runescape is too risky to make an investment in, invest in (real life) gold.

In my personal op[pinion the market is too volatile to invest without huge risk. That being said, I would personally buy rares in the item market and sell them and start a GP shop. But realistically why dont you invest in real silver? Much better then RS gold

In a long term view, you should hold onto the money and chuck it in the bank. Short term if you really want to spend it and start a business for fun then go buy small amounts of gp and sell.

 

Pay a very advanced programmer to make you a bot and sell that bot youll make bank off it.
