Just venting, advice appreciated.

My life is just too stressful right now. I'm a senior in high school, I attend 2 schools one for advanced math and science classes and then my home school which is a complete waste of time. I get good grades and all but this year the advanced school got harder and I just can't keep up. I'm managing a A in Physics but I have a B- in math, and a D+ in biology. My parents are pushing me to the max, they keep trying to get me to get a job, pressuring me to apply to more colleges than Michigan State, which is the only college I will attend, and just being hard on me. The only good thing in my life, soccer, is ending tomorrow and it will probably be the last time I will play soccer for a while. My parents just won't let me do what I want to do and its driving me insane. There is also a girl that I am absolutely in love with but she told me she doesn't have feelings for me, but she also said she wish she did because "I'd be the perfect boyfriend for her". She is all caught up in some asshole kid that has cheated on her numerous times with the ugliest pieces of shit you can imagine. Sorry this is all over the place and unorganized I'm just really going crazy right now. Anything nice you can say or any advice would really be appreciated.

Forget about the girl, School's more important

Tell your parent's you'll do what you want, its your life, say thanks for the support but no thanks, just don't be mad if you don't get in to michigan state.

Organise you're learning to fit each subject and school. Have a break and after you've studied, treat yourself.

and Try some relaxing methods, go for a walk. etc.

 

Well last night I had a pretty good conversation with her about it and she told me she didn't like me but has in the past and doesn't know how she'll feel in the future because I'm the nicest a guy has ever been to her, so I'm gonna see how that will play out. Grades are slowly getting better but my anatomy class is still pretty difficult, and I know I will make it into MSU, I'm almost 100% positive. I'm ranked in the top 10 in my class, had one of the highest act scores, was a captain of the varsity soccer team for 3 years, and as I stated attended an advanced school that colleges really like to see.

They are really pushing me though, they want me to go to Oakland University, which is a decent college, but its almost like a community college and its so easy to get in. I also would like the freedom to live on my own without my parents which I would get (well mostly I'd still have a roommate) while going to State. Money is really the only issue but I can apply for scholarships and student loans to help me out.

 

Okay first of all, forget about the girl who doesn't like you. No point in spending your time on someone who can't reciprocate feelings back to you. As for your parents..

Job - just tell them straight up you don't want a job and want to use your time to focus more on academics.

College - let them know you're old enough to make decisions for yourself. Give them the impression you're mature and independent. If you can do that, I don't see why they'd care what college you go to.

Academics - spend more time with them, and keep working at it..hopefully it'll get easier.

Just take a deep breath bro and think long term. 4 years from now none of the issues you are currently experiencing will matter. That girl will be a memory, the issues with your parents resolved. What your feeling is part of growing up, and it sucks. Paying your dues is not enjoyable, but is part of the process. Keep your chin up.

 

Plznate had the Perfect answer, Just stick it out It'll just be a distant memory in years to come, When you think about it it'd only a tiny portion of your life, Once that's past it's all plain sailing until kids come along then your fucked. Just stick it out.
