Price Check on Sony Vaio

Well I have My Sony Vaio laptop, and I'm looking to sell it. Here is the link to all the information.

This laptop sells new for around $2400 new, and the only problem with it is the webcam doesn't work, and the case for the CD drive is broken off (but I still have it, if that counts for anything.) Because of the RAM and Hard Drive, I don't want it anymore. I'm planning to sell it to a local Buy/Sell/Trade computer place. I'm wondering how much they would give me for it. I was hoping I'd get around $1500 for it?

 

Your local buy/sell/trade center is going to underbid you. To be honest, I wouldn't pay anything over 1000$ for it simply because it's easy to grab a new computer with similar specs for around 1200$.

 

I realize they'll underbid me, but I was hoping to haggle a little, so you say around 1000$? That's good for me. I'm planning to get myself an Xbox and iPod Touch, so that's around 700$. Thanks for your input!
