OSRS Duel Arena lag scam or WTF is that?

Hi there!
I need your advice or information. So, today I was trying to stake in Duel Arena and there was a guy with almost the same stats as I have.. we done staking deal and started this fight... but near the end... some connection problem. I thought to myself, that maybie thats my internet connection or something, so I fought him again. And again, at the end this lag.. What the hell is that? Is this is a scamm or a glich.. or anything else? How to avoid them?

Could be potential ddosing, but most likely it's just your connection. Did you try staking anyone else at that time?

 

Thats the thing. I was staking with another players for smaller amaunt of cash and everything was ok. Then, tryed to stake that guy for higher cash, cuz' of previous success and got these "ddosings"... (?)
What is ddosing? How to avoid them?
And my internet connection is realy good.

 

If got ddosed he would most likely be gone for a longer period and yeah, could just be the servers or hes abusing something.

 

ddosing is just fucking with your connection if you have the persons IP, usually used to lag someone out.. it's against the rules of obvious reasons.

 

Ok then. How to get rid of them or how to not to get scammed?

 

It's a real rarity this will happen to you, which is why I doubt it was ddosing. Most likely just server issue, honestly.

It's also against the law and you can get jail time.

So that person if he does Ddos the wrong person and get's reported might get in a lot of trouble :noworry:
