i got a permament ip banned on a wow private server

I got an permament ip banned on a wow pserver (Don't think it matters what the server is so im not going to mention it). Is their any way to get un-ip banned. I've been trying to search for the answer lots of people say turn off modem and/or router for awhile and then turn it on to get a new ip. However, that did not work for my and I have a static ip. Also, a lot of my research said stuff like download hotspot shield and hide-my-ip and i tried a bunch of other software none of it worked for me. Another one i'm curious about is someone said to acctually reset the entire router. Thats kind of an hassle so I don't want to do that. Is their any easier way to get un-ip-banned from a wowpserver? im on patch 3.3.5A if that matters and my isp is at&t. Please help me if you can.:sick:

 

You may have to call up your internet provider and lie saying your internet will not work, they will disconnect the connection creating a new ip address worked for me before.

 

Try using a proxy

 

what do u maen try using a proxy..... and dont proxies only work for web stuff like games online like runescape or stuff like that... I didn't know proxies work for games like WoW

no they wont. u need a legitimate reason to change an ip by provider. [doubt getting ip banned from a mmos a great reason to change ips] so thats why u lie xP

Good luck resolving the issue.

 

Ring your ISP and say you been getting DDos'd or threatened to be ddos'd and you need a new ip to prevent them disconnecting your net.

Why were you banned though?

 

if you've got dhcp enabled, try turning your router off for 15 seconds.
Turn it back on and check.
