Reporting Elite Dust and Basement

Explanation: @Elite Dust went around his DNT and had @Basement list them on his rsn selling thread. This user is DNT for a reason. They're not allowed to use the market for our safety. These rsn's could easily be recovered by the previous owner @Elite Dust. This could also very easily lead to users geting banned for rwt. Anytime you shine a light on an rsn it inadvertently brings attention to the account itself. The community is and always will be at risk if this is allowed to continue.

I would of screenied them laughing about all the accounts being banned and incriminating evidence but they quickly removed it. If you check discord you will clearly see @Elite Dust and @Basement give themselves away.

It appears they claim @Tmoe gave them permission to do this. I have no idea why he would ever allow such a thing. I can only hope he was mislead or deceived. If not someone needs to open his eyes to the potential harm this could have on the community. 18 accounts of elite dust were recently perm banned. My question to you is how many of these rsn's would of been removed if they were actually able to sell any? Example: carbon bought a rare name recently. The name was removed and his account locked. Carbon had 7b+ 07 on this account. The only reason it was locked is because he bought a rare name that was quickly tweeted. Given this same situation who here believes @Basement or @Elite Dust would of refunded? Cuz I'll cover those odds any day.

(funny thing Is I never asked who he bought the rare name from. What are the odds it was from basement?)

I believe @Basement should receive a TWC and Elite be finally removed.

 

In the rare event any name/account I sell is recovered I will offer a full refund to my buyer.

I put in due diligence when purchasing any accounts/RSNs and thankfully this has NEVER occurred.

Please stop with your vendetta against Chad and I, as it just makes you look petty and unable to deal with being outdone at every front.

 

First off, Carbon in regards to the 7b 07 situation.

He was banned not because he bought a rare name and he was never was tweeted either. If you're going to make a report, make sure everything is accurate.

They released the names from my stakers while I was staking > I poke Carbon to take Ca**o/C***h (names that were released from me) > He manages to get them then gets banned for name hoarding. We all were in TS screaming and were confused. Then someone on Twitter tweeted they attempted to grab one of my names and got banned for name hoarding as well. Carbon tweeted JagexSupport and then they unbanned him and stated it was a mistake.

Now in regards to your report, a global moderator had given us the green light.

Never explain yourself. Your friends don't need it and your enemies won't believe it.

 

This isnt a vendetta against you or chad. This is the community at risk. Allowing users to go around their DNT status so easily is disgusting. You're risking users getting banned and names removed. I pointed out how easily it could be for several users to have their accounts locked or banned because they bought chads rsn's. How and why? Easy, he just recovers the accounts or claims they were stolen. WHen they move the names originally he just uses a vpn or proxy to do it. So when jagex comes looking they see the different IP and remove the rsn from it's new owner. Now while doing this they could easily look into the account. This could easily lead to several users losing large amounts of gold. Considering most users buying rare names have large amounts of gold or typically stakers/hosts. @Basement wouldnt give two fucks that he caused this kind of damage. He's a heartless fucking cunt. All he cares about is his pixels and, were supossed to take his word on refunding in the rare even it happens? Rare event that elite dust doesnt do something grimy.... LOL

 

Show me an example of just one event where something I have sold has been recovered.
Show me my response to that situation - did I refund?

Wait there are none... because I research my sources thoroughly before purchase.

This report is based on you selling names/accounts for chad. WHich allows him to get around his DNT rank. By doing this I believe the community is being put at risk. You never bought the names. You were personally selling his names for him. I believe mods should take a look at this and make a decision. Are they going to allow this? This is a pretty huge precedent about to be set. I just wanna know where sythe.org stands.

I'm just here to post on behalf of my reasoning for being involved in this report.

I was in a Teamspeak channel with @Basement and @Elite Dust and as soon as I join they're saying that some of their RSN's are getting re-released. @Elite Dust screams "omg ______ just got released from me" so I simply log into one of my xers that I was not aware of having 7.8b on it on the homepage to change my rsn to the one that he said was released. About 3-5 minutes later he says once again "_____ just got released from me as well" so I log into my account once more to take the rsn and store it for him.

Shortly after that @Elite Dust says that his accounts have received a connection lost and that his accounts are disabled from a manual permanent ban with evidence of "name hoarding". So I successfully log into my account just to receive a connection lost and get banned for 7.8b 07. (Off topic: I got my account unbanned and the gold was still on the account)

TLDR: I didn't purchase the RSN off of @Elite Dust , it was my fault for storing the names.

 

I am currently on mobile and I cannot check logs, but I do not believe I explicitly said it was allowed; rather, it was a gray zone given the current state of DNT.

I not believe Basement was simply re-listing the names for Elite Dust; rather, actively selling the accounts names he purchased or would then purchase from ED at a lower rate once he found a buyer. This is opposed to actively listing names ED has and having ED handle the trades/accounts/etc and actively circumventing his DNT with offsite Sythe trades. At one point ED was banned (this was recent and I do not recall what for) and under current rules there would be no problem with him providing names to Basement to be sold under that status; however, upon unban, he is able to. Why would a banned user have more rights than an active Sythe user (DNT nonetheless)

Anyway, yes, I was aware, but don't confuse my knowledge with outright stated permission. I don't see a problem with it, but I also do not think the current structure of DNT can fully address this. Frankly, DNT is unclear and staff is working on clearing up the discrepancies. This is held up by differing staff perspectives on how it should be implemented; however, there is a consensus by Sythe that we wouldn't be doing witch hunts for DNT users.

As for accounts being put at risk: if ED's names are actively getting individuals accounts banned, then they either need to stop being sold or given the explicit warning of the ramifications purchasing.

To summarize: I think this is (still) a gray area and if the names are being linked to accounts being banned, then buyers should be given explicit information about it.

Edit: Also, note how this was communicated in the general Sythe discord. This was for everyone (including staff) to see and I do believe there was any malicious intent, nor any direct breaking of rules (ED trading with Basement -> Basement trading with other users).

With that in mind, the only reason I am not closing the thread is because I am specifically mentioned in this report. I do not wish to give any perception of bias and will leave it open for other staff to chime in.

 

Yes I agree other staff should chime in. This case rests around a few principles and a lot of lying. @Basement never owned any of the rsn's. He was selling them for Elite Dust. How and why do I know this? Elite dust messaged me. "Bet you're happy all my accounts and rsn's got banned/released.) I quickly laughed at him and blocked him. Now last night he confirmed this once again in discord. Basement had told Elite dust it was stupid to publicly list the rsn's on his selling thread. Elite dust disagreed and continued keeping them for sale. Eventually ALL of ELITE DUST'S accounts were banned and rsn's rereleased. Now If Basement had purchased these names Elite Dust wouldnt of been responsible and wouldnt of lost anything. Since ownership would of transferred. However Elite Dust took the hit not Basement. Which mean's Basement was only selling the names and Elite Dust was still the Original Owner. Now unfortunately I wasnt able to SS this quickly enough before they both removed their comments after I threatned to report. Wouldnt take much to take a look and confirm everything I've written. If were going to allow users a simple and easy way to circumvent their DNT just remove it. Users have a better chance of seeing Elite dust for what he is when trading his name directly. Wouldnt take but a few google search's to realize this kid is aids. Remember you guys are setting precedents here for future issues. Momma always said it's better to be safe than sorry. Im not so sure this doesnt apply here. Why risk the community for a DNT user? Correct me if Im wrong but I was under the assumption DNT was a process. Admit your wrongs and get DNT. Actively participate in the community and possibly show vouch's for offsite trading. Earn some respect back in the community and possibly have the DNT removed after 6 months min. If you're just going to allow them to openly trade through others than just get rid of DNT. It's useless and Bullshit. Were no different than PowerBot. Lets allow active scammers the ability to keep scamming. Sounds good man..

I would prefer we stick to my original reason for posting this thread. I will however enlighten you and anyone else curious. Yes I purchased 5-6 rsn's from Ricky. These rsn's were not sniped or actively being traded. He had owned most of them for several years. I resold several successfully. The names were moved and no one was sniped. Glare had full knowledge where I got the rsn's. After waiting several months he purchased 3-4 names from me. I told him they were still on Ricky's accounts and he should move them ASAP. He decided to trust Ricky since ricky wasnt aware I had sold them to Glare. Ricky finally decided to scam me and recovered all the rsn's a week or two later. Because Glare had decided to keep them on the accounts they were recovered. None of the rsn's I actually sold were taken or recovered back. I successfully sold several. Just because Ricky is a known sniper doesnt mean all his rsn's are taken illegitimately. I took a calculated risk and bought "sythe safe" rsn's and paid others to transfer the names. Everyone involved knew was the OO. I made it no secret and adviced extreme caution the entire way. The only person who sustained any loss was glare. He knowingly made a mistake and didnt move the names as adviced. I felt extremely bad because Glare was my friend and I thought Ricky and Me were cool. He knew what I could and couldnt buy. I paid him decently for every name so there was no animosity towards me. However his greed overcame him and he finally recovered everything he could.

 

Thank you for admitting you have poor judgement when it comes to who you trade with. This just reinforces my point that you have zero room to talk about 'doing research' on potential trading partners.

 

@Azie looking to get this report closed/title changed to prevent it affecting future business. Unless of course hattez has anything more to say.

I have already provided my input on this report and want other staff input as I am specifically mentioned in this report.

My tl;dr is:
No action due to the gray-zone, lack of regulation, and the listing of names not actively involving ED trading with other users.

If one other staff member can review my stance, I am fine with the report being closed and the title being changed. @Azie

 

I spent about 10 minutes reading this and I'd have to agree with you. If Hattez can come up with something else he can create a new report.
