I just got an idea

When you get quoted, you should get some kind of message (either a pop-up or a PM), so you know that you got quoted. The message should take you to the thread, where you got quoted.

An easier way for this is just to go to your recent posts, whatever is in red, click that go through it and see if anyone quoted you

Or just check back to the topic that you've posted in and just check-up on it frequently.
