I don't get what all the hype is to be honest.

I really don't know why people are saying that 2007Scape is going to bring back the good times of RuneScape when it really won't. Most of the older players who really experienced that era of the game was mostly young at the time with not much to worry about other than school or something but now the 2007 servers are back everyone is older, and have jobs or are in college or something so its not going to be the same and it never will.

 

Doesn't mean the old players won't still dedicate time to the game they once loved before jagex destroyed it.

 

Because this era and prior formed my deep love for the game. 2k10+ era started destroying it for me.

 

I don't get what the negativity is... 1 day from launch and we still have 50k :/

I'm a college student at the moment and still enjoy RSPS in general, just not 07, but I do see where you're coming from.

 

It's brought life bak to something that died.

Basically reincarnating a game that was good then died and now it's back.

 

Even if the players aren't as dedicated, its made up for in nostalgia. The community on the new-07 is better than EoC already.

It is going to take months to make this game have a stable economy. If you don't understand you obivously weren't there, and if you were there you were a noob at the time.

 

Hardly a kid, but I was saying as much as you try bring something but it still will never be how it was back in the day. 2006 / 2007 was when I first played RuneScape. Admittedly I didn't play that much and only got to like level 60 or something but I don't really see a urge to come back.

 

Why not the hype? fagex ruined a game people loved to play and the fact that their bringing back what people love? whats not to be excited about

I obviously do, I played that game solid in that era but obviously I have just grown up and nearly 20 and can't be playing RuneScape and be a runefaggot all my life.

 

You just said you started in 06/07 and were only around level 60. I'm guessing you had shit stats, and had barely even broken into the game. So no, you don't know. I'm nearly 20 working full time and in my spare time I will play this. I bet you play xbox or ps3, so what's the difference?

I am personally a player from around 06-ish era. I played a lot through and up until 08. I am super excited to get back on and start merching some. That was my racket back in the day.

I'm 19... I enjoy this as much as back in the day and will probably not quit.

 

I enjoy it just as much but I've put too much time into my EoC account to religiously play 07 Scape. I don't have the will to restart...that's what playing for 8 years can do to you. Not to mention the grind I've gone through in other games such as Oblivion and Skyrim.

 

Do they still have RSC from back in 2003?
