Can I just rant a little?

I know none of you give a flying fuck or even know who the fuck I am, but I just wanna get shit off my chest becaue if I don't I'm going to go fucking crazy and kill someone. Really don't know where to start so here goes:

I'm 18, graduated high school in December. I sit around all day and play WoW and wait for the weekends where I try to get fucked up because that's the only fun thing to do here in bum-fuck-Iowa. I leave for Marine Corps basic training in June, which I am totally not ready for emotionally.

Next thing, my girlfriend and I just broke it off Monday, I still have feelings for her but I kinda want to move on and do something new. There's this other fucking gorgeous chick I think I MIGHT have a chance with but I really don't know if it's even worth going for since I'm leaving in two months.

I'm not going to flame you. I'm thinking about joining the military when I get old enough. We all have problems in our lives which cause us to rage... Like... At the moment I have a drinking/sex problem lol

About your ex, try to cut her off and by that I mean do your best to end your feelings for her, I'm sure you'll get over her sooner or later. And the other girl, try not get serious with her because you're leaving for Marines soon.

But anyways as time passes so do our problems, just wait it out and all will be well. I wish you the best.

 

Like, I seriously think I have mild depression because I'm NEVER in a good mood unless I'm doing something with friends which is only weekends. I have like no human interaction during the week except FB which is really just starting to piss me off.

If youre just sitting around playing wow all day you'd best spend your time getting fit, months of playing wow all day won't prepare you for marine school.

 

I'm honestly not that worried about it, I'm actually having second thoughts because I want to go to college and get fucked up and smoke weed for 4 years. As lame as that sounds, it's true.

I'm in your situation besides the Marine/graduated/ex part lol.
I get home schooled so all I do is play RS all day and lift weights every other day.

 

Everything just pisses me off right now, like my ex just texted me, "Haley broke my thong". Wtf does that even mean, how does another bitch break your thong? Why did you LET her touch your thong. Seriously pisses me off.

 

Also it's like why do I even give a fuck if someone broke your thong.

 

Exactly goddamn. Why do I fuck around with young chicks who can't handle their fucking booze?

Serving the marines is not something you should not be against or afraid of. Serving your country is an honor in my opinion and I respect you for it. Don't be a follower, be a leader and don't worry about the kids in college who "smoke weed and get fucked up all day". Best of luck on whatever you decide doing.

Getting over an ex girlfriend is hard, and will take you some time.

But the whole "Getting as fucked up as possible" might suggest that you have more than just your WoW addiction to worry about. Is there something else bothering you?

Are you in financial trouble? Trouble with parents? Your Health?

 

I don't have a job, and it's not really an "addiction" it's just something I do during the week when all my mates are in class.

 

I'd highly suggest getting a job then (if you don't go into the Marines). You'll have quite a bit less time to kill, be making some good money, and have the potential to make new friends to hang out with during the week. Also, I say go for the other girl.

What have you got to lose in going for the girl? Better than coming back after your training to find her moved away or with some other man.

Is someone ever really "ready" to do that, like you're leaving behind all you've ever known. I think it's just something you gotta do.
