Oddly enough nibiru means "a transition", which is supposedly one of the things that the Maya believed would happen in December 2012; a kind of paradigm shift

 

This just me thinking out loud, but couldn't we just detect an asteroid and destroy it before it reached earth. It is 2012

 

Wait, if it's due to hit within the next month and a half, why can't we see the giant fireball in the sky?

You really wouldn't see it at that distance in the time frame given. Asteroids move rather fast, and don't become fireballs until they contact an atmosphere.

Anyways, if this was a real story, you'd actually see it on CNN, not the citizen version.

 

If there was any real chance of it hitting earth it would be destroyed.

 

I find it funny how last year, everybody was shitting their pants with worries about the end of the world
We have just over a month now, but everybody's just like "meh"

 

There would be efforts to do that, but it still could fail.

 

I'm not buying this everyone says it will happen and it never does i never believe any of this anymore..

 

At least everyone will die.

 

Well a major asteroid will likely hit Earth eventually in the future, the big question however is when? Could be in 1 year, or 1 billion.
