    Working out while sleep deprived

Do any of you guys have any experience with this? By sleep deprived, I mean literally 2-3 hours of sleep then proceeding to the gym that day. Do you guys seem to not hit your weights for the reps you want? Personally I always see a slight loss in strength when sleep deprived.

How does working out and sleep deprivation affect you guys?

Perhaps a slight loss, but it's really insignificant. I find the most difficult thing is motivation, after every set my eyes would just feel really tired.

Ehh its pretty significant for me as I always try to beat my previous workout, whether in higher weight or more reps for that set. Really hard progressively overloading when you're sleep deprived for like a week straight.

I agree with you on the eyes feeling really droopy though, feels horrible.

If you're going to train sleep deprived, reduce your workload volume on that day. An example, drop and exercise or two reduce weight or amount of sets or reps.

You'll likely just tax your central nervous system trying to perform with the same intensity you do when not sleep deprived.

It's ok but you can't push yourself so its better to just get a nice sleep then have a good workout the next day.

Sleep plays an important factor in working out, try to get an adequate amount of sleep before workingout
