An official format for the runescape account sales sections

Recently it has come to my attention that many threads in the various account sales sections are lacking in quality. Simply put they have say one picture and no effort is put into the thread, in my opinion they are probably mostly scams. Now instead of making a post about how moderators should try and delete these threads, I had a better idea. An official format for runescape account sales.

I believe a format is a good idea because it keeps things organized and makes it easier to navigate the account sales sections. Plus it will eliminate a few of the more lazy scammers who do not want to adhere to the new rules. Furthermore it would also help our newer members easily find out exactly what is expected of them when they are selling an account. I also can't think of a reason as to why it would be a bad idea.

I think a good format would be something along the lines of:

    Introduction/reason for selling(Optional)

    Pictures:

    Price/Method

    How do we contact you?

    Anything else we should know?

That's pretty much what I think it should be, let me know if I've left anything out ^_^

There might not currently be a format which is required at this time, however requirements of certain images and information are still enforced to be posted along with an account sale.

I think that's been working well so far, therefore I do not support this suggestion.

Particularly if you're suggesting to use the example format you posted, as it is far too long and there are too many redundant questions asked.

You got me fucked up thinking i'm going to use that list for every single account I sell. Half the shit on the list is just pointless.

    No support.

    Specifically which questions are redundant?

And I do not believe this is "far to long." These questions would only take 10-15 minutes to answer. If you're not willing to put 10-15 minutes worth of effort into your thread, I would be hard pressed to believe you're not a scammer.

What specifically is pointless? Saying Half the shit is pointless does not benefit either of us.

I wasn't aware you had a guide, but I agree it does cover everything. The reason for the format is that it sort of enforces itself. In the sense that it just makes it easier to see if the person followed the rules at a glance, and it's immediately obvious if they didn't use it.

Seems like a good idea but no. It's just too much of a hassle. If people want to include it then they can, most of the time people include the necessary information already while creating the thread.

As I said before, If 10 minutes of effort is to much of a hassle, you're more then likely a scammer. A legitimate seller would care about how their thread looks, and would put some time into it. I would much rather see threads with care and thought put into them then "Heres my acc i quit cauze rs sucks a/w 100m must sel n 2 hurs"

However if this is what the majority of sythers want the threads to be, then sythe is not the website I thought it was.

Then I must be the biggest scammer of all time, because I wouldn't do it. It's just pointless to fill out such a stupid form.

What specifically is stupid about it?

EDIT: Also I'm sorry I did not mean to accuse you of being a scammer for disliking my idea.

What I was trying to say is that if 10 minutes is to long of a time for creating a thread, I would think you're a scammer simply because scammers tend to be impatience. If that makes anymore sense.

Like half of the things on there. I don't need to give you a reason on why I'm selling an account. I don't need to post any tasks. I don't need to post my log in. It's unnecessary. Most of the time people don't even care about those.

I personally like to see these things, a reason shows you actually care about your account or you're at least willing to pretend you do. I also do care about tasks I find the rewards to be very useful, however if no tasks are completed you could simply not post a task picture and instead write in no tasks. Furthermore the log in immediately backs up whatever your claim in regards to email and recovery questions being set or not is.

However this format was created with the intention of being for the sale of one account at a time.

I can see how an account seller would be annoyed by it, but I believe the overall benefits out weigh a few inconvenienced account sellers.

I see your point, but that form is too tedious. A lot of extremely trusted sellers have only one word or phrase in the majority of their posts and simply don't have much time to cope with filling out a lengthy form for their sales, especially those with threads of selling 100+ accounts in a bot farm.

If a buyer wants to know the login name or details of an account, then all he or she has to do is ask the seller.

I think what should happen is that we can provide a format that sellers are encouraged to follow, but not required to.

I kinda understand what you are trying to post right here, you are try to prevent an account seller scams you by putting every piece of information possible so there is no way out, that is good if you are an untrusted seller and you are willing to sacrifice some of your time to post a very descriptive thread about the account that you are selling, but if you are already a trusted seller then this is nonsense as they didn't need it for being trusted, therefore still useful in some way, just don't be so polemic about it and use that form if you are more likely to do so, or don't use it you are not willing to do it, just don't pretend it to be a standard for account selling through sythe

So trusted users, shouldn't have to follow the rules? What are they to good for them? Is their time so valuable that can't afford to spend 10 minutes of it on us peasant buyers?
