Any Chess Players Here?

Hey guys,
I'm a really enthusiastic chess player, and I'm just wondering who else here plays chess? I play on Funorb, it has easily the best GUI out of any online chess group that I have found so far...

Also I made a league for it which can be found here:

If anyone wants to join that'd be great, and tell your friends. Please note: I don't own either Funorb or the League Site, and make no gain from posting them or you going onto either site.

We can have some tournaments to see who the best chess player is on sythe as well lol

I've always been so interested in chess. But never actually learned how to play

 

The coach of my hs chess team offered to pay for my airfare to Michigan if I played for them at the national championships last year..

I went and took thirteenth place in the country

Hmm, I haven't tried funorb chess, maybe I should try.

 

Go on the IRC and talk to Atomic. He plays chess a lot and is pretty amazing at it.

 

didn't know funorb has chess ill try it out now, i like chess, never tried it online though.

 

I rarely play anymore but I do know how. and know most of the quick finish tactics etc. I learned from a friend back in school when I was like 10?

I used to play. Never good at all, I just liked to scream 'CHECK MATE!' even if I wasn't supposed to, lol..
