With Hush emails, do you need to go onto the hush email site to keep it activated or would linking it up to hotmail and sending/receiving emails through hotmail be enough to keep it from being de-activated?

You have to actually log in once every 3 weeks to keep it from getting locked.

Getting locked doesn't really affect using it for MSN though.

Also, it's only $25 for a year (as long as you use a coupon) for the convenience of not having to log in so regularly, in addition to a solid mail service.

Kinda on-topic. Is there a difference between the @hush and @hushmail?

Don't think so, I think they're just different domains but run by the same company. For example @live and @hotmail.co.uk are run by the same people but are just different domains.

Na they're just different domains. You are given the option to pick either on their site.
