Lil wayne actually used to be real... he used to be good. but he's so comfortable at the top now he feels that he doesnt have to spit the truth or try anymore. Turn one of his latest songs on, and 97% of the lyrics will be about bitches, sex, money, or weed, ESPECIALLY MONEY. So here are some of my favorite rappers ever, and they're ALL real AF.

I dont listen to any of waynes new stuff either. But i dont criticize him for what he raps about, his lifestyle changed so he raps about different things. If you dont like it then just dont listen to it.

I don't really see the difference between him and YMCMB. They are lyrically homogenous. YMCMB just has less street cred.

 

The difference is Boosie actually lives what he talks about, & YMCMB ARE fake as fuck--with Wayne pretending he's a blood, but he's really not, etc. Boosies not the best rapper, but he makes realer songs than anyone on YMCMB.

Say man, even tupac rapped about that shit in some of his songs. But boosie has songs like 'Too Much' , 'I Remember' , 'Dont Know My Struggle' , and so on. Don't ever judge an artist by some of their top hits...

I don't think lyricism and gangster rap are mutually exclusive. Boosie just kinda sucks. Just because he's in jail doesn't mean he's the shit, it just means he got caught. Prison culture is fucking stupid. Being a real "g" is about shutting up, and not saying shit. Boosie and all these other peacock rappers are ridiculous. Boosie fans say "free boosie he's innocent" but also think he's badass because he's killed people. If you make music videos where you and a few hundred members of a possy flash techs and glocks, of course you'll inevitable get caught or blamed for some shit. Make up your damn mind.
