    Is it worth it to invest more for a better set?
    I want to shell out like 30-40 bucks for a more comfortable VR headset but I don't know if its even worth it. I'm seriously unimpressed with google cardboard but it's a neat way to introduce people to VR. But without buying something crazy like an Oculus Rift headset, is it worth it to buy a $20-50 setup?

    yes, considering 20-50$ hopefully shouldn't make you loose your shirt. i think you would be happy investing the money for a better setup.
