How To Have A Smart Thread Title

    Welcome to my Fourth Guide.

In this guide, I will teach you, or inform you on what is good, and what is bad, when you make a thread title. As you may know, having a good or bad title could mean your downfall, or your success.

    Examples are listed below. :)

BAD - "MY UBER L33t GUIDE! **READ**" *your thread title wouldn't have l33t yellow colors, but it's an example.

Why is this bad? Well, for two reasons.

    1. I wouldn't read something I don't know about, because it could well be a time-waster.
    2. This thread title indicates to me, someone who isn't taking the matter seriously, and while I would probably go in to cure my curiosity about what the guide is about, I don't want to find a guide about how to become a terrorist or something ridiculous like that.

GOOD - "How To Groom and Ride Pretty Ponies!"

Why is this good? Two reasons again.

    1. It tells me what the guide will be about, so if I wish to further my knowledge in the subject, I can do so. However, if I couldn't care less about Pretty Ponies, I can move onto the next guide.
    2. It tells me that this person can add flair and is reasonably smart when it comes to their grammar.

Some tips for making a Smart Thread Title include:

    >Make it concise, and clear. Tell your reader what your guide is about before he even gets into the thread.
    >Don't spell incorrectly, or have improper grammar because doing so will just annoy your reader.
    >Don't make the Guide Title too long. The reader will realize you probably aren't taking it seriously if your title says "How To Groom and Manicure and Ride and Take Care of Pretty Ponies but this guide may not include all of the pretty ponies". You will get ridiculed. :)
    >Know when to put capitals in your words, and when not to.

So that is the end of my guide. Feel free to comment and post criticism about my horrible grammar and spelling. :D
