How will John Calipari do at Kentucky?

[Courage iz MLG]

I want to know how you think John Calipari will do with the program Kentucky.

Will he do Great? Will he be a Flop like Billy G? I wanna know.

I believe that he will do a great job handling all of the pressures of Kentucky basketball and will lead us to 3 Final Fours in the next 5 years!

GO UK!

Sorry, what is the "program Kentucky"?
And... who is John Calipari? I'm guessing he's famous in the US? I live in the UK.

Kentucky is a college, NCAA, basketball program. One of the finest in the country, but has been in a slump recently.

Billy Gillispie, though a great coach, wasn't the right fit for Kentucky. Calipari seems like a perfect fit in my opinion; as long as Jodie Meeks comes back they should have a hell of a team. I think Calipari is a better recruiter than Gillispie, and should be able to formulate a really solid team. Only time will tell but I think it was a good move, but it better have been for the salary they are giving him.

I agree with you J. Hopefully he will bring his recruiting class with him this year, if he does Kentucky could be a Championship Contender.

I also think they overpaid him with his salary as it is almost 4 million a year with a 2.5 million signing bonus... But it should work out.
