How was that made...?

How were those things comming out of the text made?

Well, I know they were made in C4D (that's what I think at least) but how can I make that?

 

The top one (in theory) is easy to make by just makin some text in cinema 4d putting a rock/marble type of texture on it and then takin it to photoshop and adding it the crown, fractal images, lighting

and i honestly dont know about the 2nd one

 

Those things coming out of the text are made in c4d, try adding some shapes with extrudes, then play around with shatter/explosion type filters.

As for the rest of these types of tags, it's all about the lighting and glows - it's fairly simple to make some 3d text on c4d. But adding strong light/glow to it, as well as effects and textures in photoshop is where the skill really comes in. The second looks like Kinaesthic's work, and you can tell from the crisp text and bright lighting (although I don't like how it's over contrasted on the edges, that's something you should be careful of when using glow and light effects)

 

The photoshop part won't be difficult for me.All I wanna know is how was the text made into C4D.
