How was gold transfered when free trade was not there???

I think most people didn't buy X amount of gold, they bought X amount of gold farming.

 

i remember those mature drums from the pirate mini game..

 

D stoning i can recall doing that selling fire runes for tokkul and buying the dragon stones from npc tzhaar caves on karamja

 

Yeah im gonna go with, Sellers just farmed the GP on the buyers account

 

xfer through ge buy min trade mid

 

PVP worlds, you could get high EP and let another account kill you while risking, you'd get decent drops.

 

Taking advantage of the GE, mostly.
