how u get started on rs?

i am just wondering, how did u get introduced to rs?
examples:friends, google, etc.

 

friends, and i wish they never told me about it...wasted a good 3 years of my life. rs sucks ass, if you play it, quit

 

i was searching for online games and runescape popped up, it was fun for the first year, but then got incredibly boring, so now i play rakion(which is a much better game than rs imo)

I was playing Age of Empires for a long time but then alot of people went to RS and started talking about it in AOE chat so i tried it first time i was like... sucky game so i left it then a couple of months later i tried it again and i was like... hmm its ok so i started playing it untill now (this was in 2001-2002 or so)

My brother was on MiniClip and saw it.

 

A friend told me how cool it was (this was back when classic was out), So I went and played a bit and though it was gay. Then two years later I got internet in my room so and anther friend was playing it so he talked me into playing it (rs2), so I started playing assuming that my other friends stilled played but when summer ended I found out they all quit, but I talked them into playing again. =]

I saw a firend playing one day and then I started playing and got addicted and then sold my account later for 80$ and then I started playing it again and then quit...

 

Started out on Miniclip thinking it was gay, then went to Runescape.com and got addicted. Then quit, came back, quit, and came back.

now he moved on to rakion and i might too but i find it kinda boring since all u do is fight

 

my friend told me, like when i was in grade 5... something like 6 or 7 years ago. I loved it for the first bit, but I got bored, took a 3 year break, came back, lost everything pking, took another 2 year break, and started playing again ever since in my computer sciences gr. 10 class we started making rs autos in delphi 6, and my teacher approved, because we were using delphi
